About the Role
Univs.com is looking for an experienced and motivated Overseas Education Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in overseas education counselling and a strong understanding of the international education industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities and suitable courses/universities.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences.
- Provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission requirements, and application processes.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Manage student applications from initial counselling through admission.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Coordinate with university and internal admission teams.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems.
- Achieve individual counselling, application, and conversion targets.
- Stay updated on university requirements, intakes, scholarships, and admission procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in overseas education counselling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of international education processes.
- Strong counselling, follow-up, and conversion skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Experience with CRM/lead management systems will be an advantage.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work arrangement will be provided initially. From November 2026 onwards, the position will be primarily on-site from our Kochi office.
