About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Lead with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) to drive implementation, enhancement, integration, and support initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA projects, deep manufacturing domain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SAP PP/QM Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead the implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support of SAP PP and QM solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure and customize SAP PP/QM modules to align with business processes and organizational standards.
- Ensure effective integration with SAP modules including MM, SD, PM, FI/CO, and third-party applications.
- Participate in blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, system design, testing, deployment, and hypercare support activities.
Business Process Support
- Provide functional expertise and support for Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality Management processes.
- Resolve complex production and quality-related SAP issues and ensure timely closure of support tickets.
- Collaborate with global business process owners, key stakeholders, and support teams to drive process improvements.
- Validate solution recommendations, enhancements, and defect fixes before deployment.
Testing & Release Management
- Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing activities.
- Review release content and recommend appropriate testing strategies.
- Coordinate with regional teams and testing teams to ensure smooth release validation and deployment.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, SOPs, and user documentation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and end-user training programs.
- Ensure process adherence and maintain high-quality project documentation.

SAP S/4HANA Experience
- Minimum 2 End-to-End SAP S/4HANA Implementations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA business processes.
- Experience in global template design, rollout, implementation, and support projects.
- Good understanding of SAP configuration, transports, and system landscape management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MES integrations.
- Exposure to MM, PM, and Inventory Management processes.
- Knowledge of Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Experience in interface design and integration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP archiving concepts.
- Understanding of manufacturing industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 7+ years of SAP PP/QM consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Experience in manufacturing and production environments.
- Proven expertise in SAP PP with exposure to QM processes and integrations.
Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / MBA / Any Graduate with relevant SAP experience.
