Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, from planning and requirement gathering to deployment and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, deep understanding of ERP systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
The role involves managing implementation timelines, coordinating with clients and internal teams, ensuring successful ERP adoption, and delivering solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete ERP implementation lifecycle, including project planning, execution, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Lead project teams comprising internal resources, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Gather business requirements and define ERP project scope in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analyze business processes and recommend ERP solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper configuration and customization of ERP modules according to business requirements.
- Coordinate with technical and functional teams for system integration and issue resolution.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop training plans and conduct user training sessions for successful ERP adoption.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of project requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, project management, or enterprise software delivery.
- Strong understanding of ERP modules and business processes.
- Proven experience managing ERP implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent project planning, execution, and documentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Good understanding of technical concepts related to ERP systems and integrations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in vendor and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree such as MBA, MS in IT, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with multiple ERP platforms or enterprise applications will be preferred.
