About the Role
VSM Scholars is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor Intern with prior experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to create engaging educational and promotional videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and online learning content.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and marketing
- Create engaging reels, YouTube videos, and promotional content
- Add transitions, effects, music, and subtitles to videos
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams for video ideas
- Ensure videos follow the brand style and guidelines
- Optimize videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Deliver high-quality videos within deadlines
Requirements
- Prior experience in video editing (internship, freelance, or projects)
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
- Basic understanding of video storytelling and pacing
- Knowledge of social media video formats and trends
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Portfolio or sample work is required
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animations
- Experience editing educational or social media content
- Basic understanding of sound editing and color grading
