Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Testing Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The Testing Engineer will design, develop, and execute test plans, identify defects, collaborate with development teams, and help deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of applications and systems.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing results to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
