Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end human resource functions across corporate, site, and operational locations. The role will cover recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, performance management, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
The individual will work closely with senior management, department heads, site teams, employees, and external consultants to ensure smooth HR operations, effective people processes, and compliance with organizational policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for corporate, site, operational, and support functions.
Understand manpower requirements in coordination with department heads and site teams.
Source, screen, interview, and coordinate selection of suitable candidates.
Manage offer rollout, salary negotiations, documentation, and joining formalities.
Maintain recruitment trackers, hiring MIS, and manpower reports.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage employee lifecycle processes from joining to exit.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, HR documentation, and employee master data.
Prepare and manage offer letters, appointment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
Ensure timely onboarding, induction, transfers, confirmations, promotions, and exits.
Handle resignation, notice period, clearance, exit interviews, and full & final settlement coordination.
3. Job Descriptions & Performance Management
Develop and maintain job descriptions and job profiles across departments.
Define roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, KRAs, and performance expectations.
Coordinate performance appraisal and review cycles.
Support managers in setting measurable performance objectives.
Track performance outcomes and improvement plans.
4. Payroll & HRMS Coordination
Coordinate monthly payroll processing for employees across corporate and site locations.
Validate attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
Ensure timely submission and verification of payroll inputs and approvals.
Maintain employee master data and ensure accuracy of HRMS records.
Coordinate with payroll/HRMS vendors and address system-related issues.
HRMS experience, particularly with systems such as SENSYS, will be an added advantage.
5. Statutory Compliance
Support and monitor compliance related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax, UAN, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external consultants and agencies for statutory compliance and filings.
Maintain relevant registers, records, challans, returns, and compliance documentation.
Support statutory inspections, audits, and notices.
Keep track of changes in applicable labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
6. Employee Engagement & Grievance Management
Plan and execute employee engagement activities across corporate and site locations.
Support internal communication, employee welfare initiatives, celebrations, and organizational events.
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and HR-related queries.
Promote a positive, professional, and performance-oriented work culture.
Build effective relationships with employees, managers, and site teams.
7. HR Policies & Process Improvement
Support development, implementation, and improvement of HR policies, SOPs, and processes.
Ensure consistent implementation of HR practices across locations.
Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
Maintain proper HR documentation and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
8. MIS, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Prepare regular HR MIS and management reports related to manpower, recruitment, attrition, attendance, payroll, and employee movements.
Provide relevant HR data and insights to management for decision-making.
Coordinate with department heads, site teams, finance, payroll teams, consultants, and vendors.
Ensure timely completion of HR activities and deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile
8–10 years of relevant HR experience.
Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, township development, hospitality-led developments, or allied industries will be preferred.
Strong hands-on experience across HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
Good exposure to recruitment, payroll coordination, HRMS, employee engagement, and statutory compliance.
Ability to work effectively with senior management, department heads, site teams, and employees.
Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Practical and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong documentation, analytical, and process-management skills.
