Role Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will support business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and assisting in government liaison and tender processes. The role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government officials, and key stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and address queries effectively.
- Ensure client satisfaction and support long-term engagement.
- Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the Solid Waste Management (SWM) sector.
- Conduct market research and networking to expand business reach.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to promote company solutions.

- Coordinate with government departments for approvals, compliance, and project-related activities.
- Assist in tender processes including documentation, submission, and follow-ups.
- Ensure adherence to government policies, SWM rules, and procurement guidelines.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support senior team members in achieving business targets.
- Assist in resolving operational or client-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, tenders, and client interactions.
- Prepare sales reports, MIS, and pipeline updates.
- Ensure proper documentation using MS Office and reporting tools.
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in Solid Waste Management (SWM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience in sales, tender handling, and government liaisoning is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SWM operations and government processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to generate leads and close opportunities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
