Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Sharepoint Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Manage SharePoint farms, web applications, service applications, and site collections. and Coordinate with infra, SQL, network, and security teams that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities
SharePoint SPSE (Subscription Edition) Administrator:
. Administer and support SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE) on‑prem environments
. Manage SharePoint farms, web applications, service applications, and site collections
. Handle L2/L3 support tickets, incident, problem, and change requests (ITSM tools)
. Perform installations, upgrades, OS patching, and SharePoint Cumulative Updates (CUs)
. Plan and execute weekend / after‑hours deployments, patching, and maintenance activities
. Monitor SharePoint health, performance, logs, and capacity, and resolve issues proactively
. Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability setups
. Configure and maintain security, authentication (EntraID), and permissions
. Support and troubleshoot custom solutions, workflows, and third‑party add‑ons
. Coordinate with infra, SQL, network, and security teams
. Enforce SharePoint governance, operational standards, and best practices
. Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, patching plans, and support documentation
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Skills Required:
. SharePoint Subscription Edition (or 2019/2016) administration
. SharePoint farm architecture & troubleshooting
. PowerShell for SharePoint administration
. Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server (operational knowledge)
. OS & SharePoint patching / CU management
. ITSM / support operations experience
