Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring testing processes, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products while fostering collaboration across teams to meet project goals effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies to enhance quality assurance practices.
- Mentor and support team members to build their skills and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure seamless integration of quality processes within the software development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and software testing life cycle processes.
- Experience in defining and tracking key quality metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and product quality.
- Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with business goals.
- Skilled in defect management and resolution processes to ensure timely identification and correction of issues.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
