Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer / Senior HVAC Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in HVAC Design & Engineering for MEP, EPC, commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, design calculations, equipment sizing, HVAC drawings, BOQ, and multidisciplinary MEP coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC system design and engineering for building/MEP projects.
- Prepare heat load and cooling load calculations.
- Design chilled water systems, chiller plants, AHU, FCU, CRAH and CRAC systems.
- Carry out HVAC ducting and ventilation design.
- Design and review HVAC chilled-water piping systems.
- Perform HVAC equipment selection, sizing and technical evaluation.
- Prepare and review HVAC layouts, schematics and design drawings.
- Prepare BOQ, quantity take-off and material requirements.
- Review IFC, GFC and shop drawings.
- Prepare and review technical submittals and design documentation.
- Coordinate HVAC design with Electrical, Civil, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV teams.
- Resolve design clashes, technical queries and coordination issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and project teams.
- Support value engineering and design optimization.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable project specifications, codes and standards.

Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC Design & Engineering.
- Good knowledge of HVAC calculations, systems, equipment sizing and design drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Data Center / Mission Critical experience will be an advantage.
Important
Candidates with experience primarily in HVAC Site Execution, Maintenance, Service, QA/QC or Testing & Commissioning without significant HVAC Design experience are not preferred.
