Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital is hiring for the below position.
Post - Pharmacist
Location - West Delhi & South Delhi
Experience Required - Minimum 1 Year in a Hospital (Preferably in Eye Hospital)
Qualification - B. Pharma or D. Pharma
Valid Delhi Pharma Registration Certificate is Mandatory.
1. Dispensing & Patient Care
- Dispense prescribed medications, especially ophthalmic drugs (eye drops, ointments, injections).
- Educate patients on proper usage (e.g., how to apply eye drops correctly).
- Explain dosage, side effects, and storage instructions.
- Ensure prescriptions are accurate and complete.
2. Specialized Ophthalmic Support
- Handle and store sensitive eye medications (e.g., lubricants, antibiotics, anti-glaucoma drugs).
- Assist in preparing medications for procedures (like dilating drops before exams or surgery).
- Maintain sterility standards for ophthalmic products.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels of medicines and surgical consumables.
- Maintain records of batch numbers, expiry dates, and controlled drugs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
- Prevent stock-outs and wastage.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Follow hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain prescription records and billing data.
- Ensure compliance with drug laws and safety standards.
- Participate in audits and quality checks.
