Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (KENYA, AFRICA)
Location: Kenya, Africa
Key Responsibilities
- Global Trade & Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade laws, tariffs, sanctions, and HS codes. Oversee key import/export documentation (BOL, AWB, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin).
- Freight & Carrier Management: Negotiate rates and manage performance with ocean/air carriers and customs brokers to optimize landed costs and transit times.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Control: Coordinate end-to-end multi-modal shipments, track global freight movements, and manage regional warehouse inventory levels.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supply chain bottlenecks, trade disruptions, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- Proven technical knowledge of vehicle batteries.
- Experience in retail or B2B sales (automotive sector preferred).
- Strong capability to manage physical inventory and warehouse stock.
