AI / Backend Developer ( 1-2 Years Experience) Role Overview
We are building AI-powered tools for compliance professionals (TaxTechonology). The goal is to automate complex workflows such as document parsing, financial calculations, and AI-assisted analysis.
We are looking for a developer with backend and AI integration skills to help build and improve these AI-driven systems. Finance or tax knowledge is not required — the focus is purely on engineering and AI development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for AI-powered applications
- Build APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask)
- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar) into applications
- Implement document parsing pipelines (PDF, CSV, structured data)
- Design and maintain data processing workflows
- Work with vector databases / embeddings for AI retrieval systems
- Optimize AI prompts and workflows for reliability
- Build backend systems for file uploads, processing, and result generation
- Deploy services using Docker and cloud platforms
Required Skills
- Strong Python programming
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) - Exposure to services like S3, EC2, Lambda, or API Gateway is a plus
- Experience working with AI/LLM APIs
- Knowledge of data processing (CSV, JSON, Pandas)
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Basic understanding of Docker and cloud deployment
Good to Have
- Experience with RAG pipelines
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.)
- Experience parsing PDF documents
- Knowledge of LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Basic frontend knowledge (React / simple JS)
