Primary Purpose
To deliver high-quality training in Electric Vehicle (EV) Product Design and Development, enabling students to acquire industry-relevant technical knowledge and practical skills. The trainer will be responsible for planning and conducting training sessions, mentoring students, evaluating performance, managing academic records, and facilitating industry exposure activities to ensure successful learning outcomes and employability.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and workshop sessions as per the approved curriculum.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and project-based learning activities.
- Ensure effective student engagement and participation during training sessions.
- Summarize key concepts at the end of each session and assign relevant learning activities.
Course Preparation
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and assessment tools.
- Prepare practical assignments, case studies, and project guidelines.
- Update training content based on current EV industry trends and technologies.
Student Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations.
- Monitor student learning progress and provide timely feedback.
- Evaluate projects, practical work, and final examinations.
- Maintain assessment records and performance reports.
Student Administration
- Maintain accurate student attendance records.
- Create and manage student batches in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Update and maintain individual student scorecards and competency records.
- Support student counseling and academic mentoring activities.
Industry Engagement
- Organize guest lectures, expert sessions, workshops, and industrial visits.
- Facilitate interactions between students and industry professionals.
- Promote exposure to current EV technologies, design practices, and industry standards.
Academic Operations
- Monitor batch performance through academic dashboards and reports.
- Coordinate with academic and project teams to ensure smooth training operations.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and training programs.
- Raise requisitions for training materials, laboratory consumables, and equipment as required.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain training records, attendance registers, assessment reports, and student documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and Sector Skill Council requirements.
- Complete HR-related activities such as attendance, leave management, and reporting requirements.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Certification in Electric Vehicle Technology, Automotive Design, CAD/CAM, or Product Development is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in EV Product Design, Automotive Product Development, EV Systems, Vehicle Design, or related areas.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Experience working with industry-standard design and engineering tools is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
