Title : Sr. QA (5+ Years)
Location : Ahmedabad | On-Site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Lead end-to-end manual and automated testing efforts across multiple projects.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Establish and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and API testing.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automated scripts.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce QA best practices and standards.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards (OWASP, data protection, etc.).
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test reports, bug reports, and release notes.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Technical Requirements (If any specific):
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, validations).
- Understanding of mobile app testing (Android/iOS) and cross-platform apps.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, ClickUp, or similar.
- Familiarity with security testing basics and OWASP Top 10.
