Job Summary
The Counselor position involves providing academic advising and support to students, analyzing their needs, and offering guidance to help them achieve their educational goals. The role requires mentoring students, conducting interviews, and utilizing systems like PeopleSoft and Ellucian for student record management.
Duties
- Provide academic advising to students, assisting them in course selection and degree planning
- Analyze student needs and develop personalized academic success plans
- Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions to support students in their educational journey
- Utilize PeopleSoft and Ellucian systems for student data management
- Engage in education administration tasks related to student services
- Deliver public speaking engagements on educational topics
- Recruit prospective students and provide information about academic programs
Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Proficiency in academic advising techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Ellucian systems is a plus
- Strong interviewing skills to assess student needs effectively
- Ability to mentor and guide students towards achieving their academic goals

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
