Key Responsibilities Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely inspection and servicing of all plant machinery and equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Breakdown Maintenance
- Lead the maintenance team in resolving equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Minimize production downtime through effective maintenance planning.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide maintenance engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
- Conduct technical training and skill development for maintenance personnel.
Spare Parts & Inventory
- Monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely purchasing of materials.
- Optimize inventory costs without affecting equipment availability.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, statutory regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable factory and electrical safety regulations.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Control contractor and service provider costs while maintaining quality standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Maintenance, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and plant expansion projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Maintenance Management, TPM, or Reliability Engineering are an advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
