Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis II – Pantry / South Indian to join our kitchen team at our Multicuisine Fine Dining Restaurant. . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing South Indian dishes and pantry items while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare South Indian breakfast items such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, upma, and related accompaniments.
- Assist in preparing sandwiches, salads, cold dishes, and other pantry items.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during service hours.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Pantry and South Indian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
