About Position:
The engineer will be responsible for the administration and engineering of the JFrog Platform, ensuring reliable artifact management, release processes, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational monitoring. The role supports DevOps and CI/CD teams by managing software artifacts throughout their lifecycle, maintaining repository health, and implementing scalable platform architectures.

What You'll Do:

Administer, configure, and maintain the JFrog Artifactory Platform to support enterprise-scale software delivery and DevOps initiatives.

Design, manage, and optimize local, remote, and virtual repositories for efficient artifact storage, retrieval, and governance.

Implement and manage Artifact Lifecycle Management, including artifact retention, cleanup policies, version management, and repository health monitoring.

Configure and administer JFrog Xray for vulnerability scanning, license compliance, security policy enforcement, and software supply chain security.

Enable and support Repository Federation and artifact replication strategies across multiple environments and regions.

Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to streamline artifact management, build integrations, and release processes across development lifecycles.

Drive Release Engineering activities, including release automation, artifact promotion, release validation, and deployment readiness.

Architect, implement, and maintain High Availability (HA) Artifactory environments with Active-Active deployment models to ensure platform resiliency and uptime.

Plan and execute Artifactory re-architecture, migration, and modernization initiatives to improve scalability, performance, and reliability.

Configure and troubleshoot Load Balancers, traffic routing, and networking components supporting Artifactory deployments.

Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, backup mechanisms, failover procedures, and recovery testing.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in JFrog Artifactory Administration and enterprise repository management.

Strong experience managing Local, Remote, Virtual, and Federated Repositories within large-scale DevOps environments.

Proven expertise in JFrog Xray for vulnerability scanning, license compliance, software composition analysis (SCA), and security policy enforcement.

Experience implementing and maintaining Artifact Lifecycle Management, retention policies, repository cleanup, and artifact governance.

Strong understanding of Release Engineering, including artifact promotion, release automation, and software delivery best practices.

Hands-on experience designing and managing High Availability (HA) Artifactory deployments with Active-Active architecture.

Experience implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, backup solutions, replication, and failover mechanisms for mission-critical environments.

Strong knowledge of Load Balancers, Networking, SSL/TLS Certificates, DNS, and Traffic Management supporting Artifactory platforms.
