Job Title: Assistant Design Engineer – Sheet Metal
Location: Delhi
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 CTC
Experience: 2–3 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical or related field)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
- Support new product development from concept to production.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and gauges as per manufacturing requirements.
- Validate designs through trials and testing.
- Resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Support cost reduction and design optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Purchase teams.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Emailing.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Understanding of tooling and fixture design.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Industry:
Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry (MSME experience preferred).
