We are looking for a creative and culturally aware Punjabi & Hindi Social Media Script Writer to develop engaging, high-retention scripts for short-form and long-form digital content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and audience psychology, with the ability to write compelling content in both Punjabi and Hindi.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging scripts in Punjabi and Hindi for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook etc.
- Research trending topics, viral content, and audience interests to create relevant and engaging scripts.
- Develop scripts for reels, shorts, explainer videos, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling.
- Adapt scripts according to different target audiences while maintaining the brand's tone and voice.
- Collaborate with content creators, video editors, designers, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
- Ensure scripts are grammatically accurate, culturally relevant, and optimized for audience retention.
- Brainstorm creative content ideas and participate in content planning sessions.
- Revise scripts based on feedback and campaign performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written proficiency in Punjabi (Gurmukhi) and Hindi.
- Strong storytelling and creative writing skills.
- Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and content formats.
- Ability to write conversational, engaging, and audience-centric scripts.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools and content research tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in script writing, content writing, or social media content creation.
- Experience writing for influencer channels, digital media companies, or content agencies is preferred.
- Basic understanding of video production and editing workflows is a plus.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
- Strong understanding of Punjabi and Hindi culture, language, and current trends.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand scripts.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
