Life N Style is a 25 year old distribution company based in Siliguri, operating as an authorised distributor for Jockey, Bodycare and other garment brands.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operation. The ideal candidate is proficient in Tally, comfortable with Excel, and has hands-on experience in routine accounting work in a trading or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day books of accounts using Tally Prime.
Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase entries, and payment records
Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
Assist in GST filing, TDS entries, and basic compliance work
Maintain and update Excel-based MIS reports and statements
Coordinate with the sales team for billing and collections follow-up
Support monthly and annual closing activities
Requirements
B.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting / Finance
Proficiency in Tally Prime (mandatory)
Working knowledge of MS Excel
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
Prior experience in a trading, retail, or distribution firm is an advantage
