Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely sourcing of electrical and instrumentation components for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement process for electrical and engineering components
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure timely purchase of materials as per project requirements
- Review technical specifications for Electrical Panels, PLC, SCADA, and Instrumentation systems
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams for material requirements
Requirements
- B.E. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement / purchase function
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Panels
- Understanding of PLC, SCADA, and Instrumentation systems
- Experience in vendor development and coordination
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial equipment / engineering projects
- Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
- Ability to handle multiple purchase requirements simultaneously
