Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to teach Science with a specialization in Chemistry for Classes VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective teaching skills, and the ability to simplify scientific concepts through engaging, practical, and application-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
· Teach Chemistry and General Science in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
· Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
· Deliver engaging lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding and connect Chemistry concepts to real-world applications.
· Conduct practical demonstrations and activity-based learning to encourage scientific inquiry and analytical thinking.
· Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and conduct remedial or enrichment classes as required.
Assessment & Classroom Management
· Conduct formative and summative assessments, practical evaluations, projects, and assignments in line with CBSE guidelines.
· Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
· Create a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
· Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents through PTMs and academic discussions.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline.
· B.Ed. is mandatory.
· Master's Degree in Chemistry will be an added advantage.
Experience
· 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
· Experience teaching Science and Chemistry for Classes VI–X is preferred.
· Experience in Olympiad coaching, STEM education, or competitive exam foundation programmes will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
