Laravel/PHP Team Leader

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead a team of Laravel/PHP developers, provide technical guidance, mentorship, and inspire them to achieve project goals and deliverables. Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback to team members.

Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, requirements, and timelines. Plan, allocate and manage resources, and ensure timely and quality delivery of projects. Track and report project progress to stakeholders.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Laravel and PHP frameworks to provide technical expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP trends, tools, and best practices, and guide the team in implementing them.

Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices, and quality of code. Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as UI/UX designers, front-end developers, database administrators, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and smooth project delivery. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project status.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including project documentation, coding standards, guidelines, and manuals. Provide documentation to team members for reference and knowledge sharing.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation. Lead the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality of deliverables.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Laravel and PHP web development.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers.
Strong proficiency in Laravel framework and PHP programming language.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Strong database skills, including MySQL or other relational databases.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex web applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
