Web Developer (Frontend, Backend & WordPress)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Web Developer with at least 1 year of experience in frontend and backend development, along with hands-on expertise in WordPress. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites, ensuring high performance, security, and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Customize and manage WordPress themes, plugins, and website functionality.
- Build user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Develop backend features using PHP, MySQL, and API integrations.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage website updates, backups, and deployments.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to deliver quality web solutions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in web development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of website hosting, domain management, and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of React, Vue.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
