CCTV Field Technicians and Engineers
ABOUT THE ROLE
Techenable Services Private Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV Field Technician to join our growing team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV surveillance and security systems for commercial and residential clients across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. KEY DETAILS
- Experience Required: 1 - 5 Years in CCTV / Security Systems
- Qualification: ITI (Electronics) / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Location: Mumbai (Local candidates preferred)
- Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras (IP, Analog, PTZ, Dome, Bullet) for commercial and residential clients.
- Set up and program DVR/NVR systems, VMS software, and remote monitoring solutions.
- Lay, terminate, and test Cat-5/Cat-6 cables, fiber optics, and power cables.
- Troubleshoot hardware faults and network connectivity issues — and fix them fast.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and health checks on existing installations.
- Respond to on-site service calls within 2–4 hours across the Mumbai region.
- Train clients on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain service records, installation reports, and equipment logs accurately.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on experience with Hikvision, Dahua, or CP Plus camera, ANPR Camera systems.
- Sound knowledge of DVR/NVR setup, IP addressing, LAN/WAN networking, and router configuration.
- Proficiency in cable laying, crimping (Cat-5/Cat-6), and connector termination.
- Skills Set for Installation and commissioning of Power rack, UPS, Battery Backups.
- Ability to use tools: Multimeter, Cable Tester, Wire Stripper, and Splicing Machine.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varied site conditions.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Certification in CCTV Installation / Networking Fundamentals / IP Surveillance.
- Experience with Video Analytics or AI-based security systems.
- Prior experience in project-based CCTV deployment for Mining, Crusher, Quarry will be advantageous for hiring.
