Job title: Content Creator – Photography, Video & Social Media
JD:
Own the school's visual storytelling — capturing, editing, and publishing content that brings school life to parents, prospective families, and the community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan the shoot schedule for upcoming events and campus activities in advance — coordinating with teachers/coordinators on timing, access, and key moments to capture
- Suggest content ideas/angles for reels and posts based on what's trending or what performed well, and bring these into planning discussions with the Strategy LeadShoot photos and videos at school events, classroom activities, sports days, assemblies, and campus life
- Edit photos and videos (color correction, cutting, reels/shorts format) for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and website use
- Plan and shoot content in line with the strategy/calendar given by the Management.
- Manage day-to-day posting, stories, captions, and community replies on social handles
- Maintain an organized photo/video archive (event-wise, term-wise)
- Coordinate with teachers/event coordinators to get access and timing for shoots
- Create design assets (posters, invites, certificates) using Canva/Photoshop
- Basic scripting/storyboarding for short reels and highlight videos
Requirements
- 1–4 years experience in content creation, videography, or social media handling (education/events background a plus)
- Hands-on skill with DSLR/mirrorless camera or high-end smartphone videography
- Proficiency in editing tools: Premiere Pro / CapCut / Filmora / Photoshop / Canva
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts formatting and trends
- Good eye for composition, lighting, storytelling
- Basic copywriting for captions
Nice to have: drone photography, motion graphics (After Effects), photography portfolio
