About the Role
Orion Brand Group is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive, and high-performing websites for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate should have strong front-end and back-end development skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to convert Figma designs into fully functional websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive websites and web applications using modern web technologies.
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, mobile-friendly websites.
- Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Develop dynamic web solutions using PHP and modern frameworks.
- Implement responsive layouts using Bootstrap and other front-end frameworks.
- Design and optimize database structures for performance and scalability.
- Ensure website speed, security, SEO readiness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing websites and applications.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Experience working with Figma and converting designs into responsive websites.
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Strong PHP development skills.
- Experience with databases such as:
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- PostgreSQL (preferred)
- Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows.
- Understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven portfolio showcasing web development projects.
- Experience working with marketing, branding, or digital agencies.
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and analytics tools.
