Job Title: PGT English Teacher

Job Summary:
Central Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate PGT English Teacher for its Sanchore branch. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English to senior secondary students, enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language and literature to senior secondary students as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, and communication skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and classroom documentation.
- Encourage participation in debates, presentations, creative writing, and other language-related activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Prepare students for board examinations and academic excellence.
- Participate in school events, meetings, trainings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning and student development.
Requirements
- Post Graduate in English or relevant subject.
- B.Ed preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience as an English Teacher preferred.
- Excellent command over spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Basic computer knowledge and smart classroom handling skills preferred.
Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday (as per school timings)
