About the Role
We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify, as well as basic design and front-end skills.
Key responsibilities
1. Website Development & Management
- Develop and manage websites using WordPress and Shopify
- Customize themes, layouts, and pages based on project requirements
- Handle basic eCommerce setup (products, collections, payments, etc.)
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and user-friendly
2. Front-End Development
- Implement design changes using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Modify and troubleshoot UI/UX issues on live websites
- Ensure cross-device compatibility and performance optimization
3. Design Support
- Create and edit basic web graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Support the design team with website banners, icons, and UI elements
- Maintain visual consistency across web pages
4. Maintenance & Optimization
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and bug fixes
- Optimize website speed, performance, and loading time
- Handle plugin/app integrations and basic troubleshooting
Mandatory Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress and Shopify
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Basic understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Work Details
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Location: On-site
