Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Caché Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in InterSystems Caché and ObjectScript, preferably within a healthcare or hospital information system (HIS) environment. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing clinical and operational modules that support patient care, lab systems, billing workflows, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using InterSystems Caché, ObjectScript, and related technologies.
- Customize and enhance existing hospital information system (HIS) modules.
- Integrate systems using HL7, FHIR, or custom REST/SOAP APIs.
- Develop and troubleshoot database queries and reports.
- Support issue resolution and change requests for live hospital systems.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and business teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in peer code reviews.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with healthcare IT standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in InterSystems Caché/Object Script.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data models in clinical systems.
- Experience working in or supporting hospital IT systems, such as HIS, LIS, or EHR modules.
- Familiarity with healthcare data exchange protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
- Good debugging, performance tuning, and system integration skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with InterSystems Ensemble, HealthShare, or TrakCare.
- Exposure to Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for utility development.
- Understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA, NDHM, or ISO 27001.
- Experience working in healthcare environments or supporting clinical teams.
