Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Borrowing Base candidate with strong Excel proficiency, deep understanding of asset-based lending mechanics, and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile Borrowing Base with Trustees/Agents; resolve breaks in Collateral Quality Tests, concentration limits, and eligibility criteria.
- Review, validate, and process Borrowing Base Certificates across multiple credit facilities.
- Analyze collateral (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and valuations) and calculate borrowing availability in line with loan agreements.
- Validate inputs (advance rates, eligibility, reserves); identify breaches, deficiencies, and covenant issues.
- Monitor compliance including Weighted Average Spread, Weighted Average Life, Debt Service Coverage Ratio, Loan-to-Value, and concentration limits; escalate risks and shortfalls.
- Prepare and submit Borrowing Base Certificates and lender reports within timelines; maintain audit trails and documentation.
- Implement Investment Management Agreement updates in reporting, including Weighted Average Spread, Weighted Average Life, and concentration limits.
- Perform data reconciliation across trustee reports, internal systems, and borrower submissions; resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Deal, Credit, Operations, and external stakeholders (lenders, trustees, auditors) to support deal onboarding, borrowing base setup, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Drive automation and process improvements in borrowing base calculations, reconciliation, and reporting to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control.

Key Competencies:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in investment operations, credit analysis or middle-office roles within asset management or private markets.
- Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school.
- Prior exposure to Private Debt asset class is must.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications; familiarity with automation tools is a must
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
