Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and technically inclined sales professional to drive business growth for our Thermal Energy Storage (TES) solutions in the food and pharmaceutical cold chain sectors. The role involves identifying opportunities, engaging with key decision-makers, developing solution based proposals, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of industrial refrigeration, cold storage operations, or energy efficiency solutions and be capable of translating customer challenges into value-driven business solutions.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in food cold storage, pharmaceutical warehouses, vaccine storage facilities, refrigerated logistics, and distribution centers.
- Build and maintain relationships with cold chain developers, warehouse operators, refrigeration contractors, EPC companies, consultants, and end users.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, industry events, channel partners, and direct customer engagement.
- Develop strategic account plans for key customers.
Solution Selling
- Understand customer refrigeration systems, operational challenges, electricity tariffs, and energy consumption patterns.
- Position Tan90's Thermal Energy Storage solutions as a means to: o Reduce peak electricity demand. o Improve refrigeration system efficiency. o Enhance temperature stability. o Increase backup thermal resilience during power interruptions. o Reduce operating costs and carbon emissions.
- Conduct technical discussions and presentations with plant heads, engineering teams, facility managers, operations leaders, and procurement teams.
- Work closely with the engineering team to develop techno-commercial proposals. CIN:

- Gather customer feedback to support product development.
- Identify emerging opportunities in sustainable refrigeration and energy optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage. Experience
- 3–8 years of B2B technical sales experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: o Cold storage o Industrial refrigeration o HVAC o Energy efficiency solutions o Renewable energy o Industrial equipment o Pharmaceutical cold chain o Food processing and storage
