Role: Security Officer / Property Attendant
About the Role:
Team SAM is looking for an alert, physically fit, and dependable Security Officer / Property Attendant to safeguard the premises, monitor activity, and ensure the safety and security of the property, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Monitor and patrol the property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or damage.
- Control access to the premises by checking and verifying identification of visitors, staff, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and visitor records — typed on a mobile phone in English.
- Ensure common areas, entrances, and exits remain secure at all times.
- Assist with day-to-day property upkeep and attend to requests from residents/occupants as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety hazards observed during rounds.
Required Qualifications & Skills: -
- Prior experience as a security guard, security officer, or property attendant preferred .
- Ability to read, write, and type basic reports on a mobile phone in English.
- Alert, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements: -
- Height: Not below 5 ft 9 in.
- Fitness: Must be able to run 1 km without stopping.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
