About the Role
Recrutifi is hiring an experienced Associate Professor in Psychiatry on behalf of a reputed medical college/hospital in Kadi, Gujarat. The role involves academic teaching, clinical psychiatric care, and contributing to departmental growth and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor MBBS students in Psychiatry
- Conduct lectures, case discussions, and clinical demonstrations
- Supervise students during clinical postings
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders in OPD/IPD
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy where required
- Participate in curriculum planning as per NMC guidelines
- Contribute to research, publications, and academic activities
- Take part in departmental and institutional responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
- MD/DNB in Psychiatry
- As per NMC eligibility norms for Associate Professor
- Prior teaching experience in a medical college preferred
- Valid medical registration
