Job Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical machines and equipment.
- Inspect machines regularly to identify wear, damage, leakage, vibration, and other issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and restore machines with minimum downtime.
- Work on equipment such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, belts, chains, seals, shafts, and couplings.
- Perform machine alignment, lubrication, and basic fabrication/repair work.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare-parts requirements.
- Coordinate with production and electrical teams during machine maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance area.
Qualifications:
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing/production machinery is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work shifts and attend breakdowns when required.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
