Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about inventory management? We are looking for a dedicated Storekeeper/ Inventory Controller to join our team at Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient material handling, and supporting smooth day-to-day store operations while adhering to company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record and update inventory levels using company systems and software.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space utilization and ensure easy accessibility.
- Issue and distribute materials to various departments based on approved requisitions while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify items that require replenishment to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store and warehouse areas.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (where certified and authorized).
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.
- Report damaged, defective, or expired goods and assist in their return, replacement, or disposal.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: ₹37,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
