The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, testing, commissioning, and validating industrial automation systems, with a strong understanding of motion control, robotics, servo drives, and fieldbus communication technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on advanced automation solutions, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and contribute to the development and testing of high-quality industrial automation products. --- # **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and execute system tests for complete industrial automation solutions. * Analyze functional and technical requirements to design comprehensive system test scenarios. * Develop, review, and execute PLC-based system test cases. * Test motion control and robotics-related PLC function blocks before product release. * Program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Blocks. * Configure and commission Servo Drives, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Inverters. * Develop and validate motion control applications for servo drives and multi-axis systems. * Configure and commission PLC Backplane I/O and Remote I/O using industrial Fieldbus technologies. * Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for machine automation and turnkey projects. * Work on machine automation solutions involving robotics, drive groups, and multi-axis control systems. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues during testing and commissioning. * Collaborate with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure successful project execution. * Follow established testing processes, quality standards, and documentation practices. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and testing efficiency. --- # **Mandatory Skills** ## **PLC Programming** * Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in PLC Programming. * Ladder Logic * Structured Text * Function Blocks ## **Motion Control** * Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Motion Control Programming. * Servo Drives * Multi-Axis Motion Control * Robotics Programming ## **Industrial Automation** * Servo Drive Configuration and Commissioning * Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) * Inverters * PLC Commissioning * Machine Automation Projects * Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) * Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) ## **Industrial Communication Protocols** Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: * Ethernet/IP * PROFINET * EtherCAT * Ethernet PowerLINK * CAN * PROFIBUS * ControlNET * DeviceNET ## **PLC Configuration** * PLC Backplane I/O Configuration * Remote I/O Configuration --- # **Qualifications** * B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering **OR** * M.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics **Note:** Diploma holders are not eligible for this role. --- # **Core Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach. * Strong ownership and accountability. * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. * Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new technologies. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. --- # **Preferred Skills** * Electrical Wiring Design for Control Panels. * Experience in Manual Testing. * Experience working in Agile development environments. --- # **What We're Looking For** * Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. * Proven expertise in configuring and commissioning Servo Drives, VFDs, and motion control systems. * Experience in machine automation and turnkey project execution. * Hands-on experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). * Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and PLC I/O configuration. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. * A proactive mindset with a strong "can-do" attitude. * Stable employment history with consistent project experience. * Candidates currently based in Pune or willing to relocate to Pune are preferred. * Candidates with an immediate to 30-day notice period are preferred.
