Job Summary:-
The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. The role requires good communication skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude while maintaining company service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
- Present menus and explain food items, specials, and beverage options to customers.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly as per company service standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set before and after service.
- Attend to customer needs politely and professionally throughout their dining experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen and billing teams for smooth service operations.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns politely and escalate to supervisors when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and restaurant premises.
- Follow hygiene, grooming, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support parcel, takeaway, and delivery operations whenever required.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th / 12th Pass.
- Prior experience in restaurant or hotel service preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and customer service attitude may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of food service and table etiquette.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication skills in Tamil; basic English/Hindi is an added advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours.
