Role Purpose
The purpose of the ICSE Primary School Headmistress role is to provide visionary leadership and effective management for the primary school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education aligned with ICSE standards. This position is responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, guiding staff development, and supporting student growth and well-being. By establishing clear goals and upholding school values, the Headmistress plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and academic excellence across all aspects of the school's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the primary school, ensuring alignment with ICSE curriculum standards and school policies.
- Oversee daily operations, including academic planning, staff supervision, student welfare, and campus management.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and classroom activities that integrate technology and foster holistic learning.
- Maintain a positive school climate by promoting effective communication and collaboration among staff, students, and parents.
- Monitor compliance with examination protocols and ensure smooth administration of board examinations.
- Lead initiatives to reduce disciplinary incidents and enhance student well-being through proactive policies and programs.
- Encourage and facilitate staff participation in professional development programs to support continuous growth and improvement.
- Ensure timely completion of school operations and strict adherence to academic calendars and schedules.
- Report directly to the Principal and supervise campus, office, and logistics teams to maintain efficient school functioning.
- Foster a culture of excellence and inspire both staff and students to achieve academic and personal success.
