Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cataract & LASIK Surgeon to join our client's ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate should have experience in independently managing OPD consultations, performing advanced cataract and refractive surgeries, and delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations and comprehensive eye examinations.
- Perform Phacoemulsification (Standard/MICS) with Premium IOL implantation.
- Perform LASIK, SMILE, PRK, and ICL procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, corneal topography, and biometry.
- Manage post-operative care and surgical complications.
- Counsel patients on treatment and surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate EMR and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and clinical staff.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and hospital protocols.
- Participate in CMEs, clinical audits, and outreach programs.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology.
- Valid NMC/MCI Registration.
- Fellowship in Cornea/Refractive Surgery is preferred.
Experience & Skills
- 2–5+ years of independent surgical experience.
- Performed 500+ independent cataract surgeries.
- Hands-on experience in Phaco, Premium IOLs, LASIK, SMILE, PRK, and ICL.
- Strong surgical, diagnostic, patient counselling, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.
Pay: ₹220,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
