Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment and possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Record purchase, sales, journal, payment and receipt entries.
- Process vendor invoices and customer receipts.
- Perform bank, cash, debtor and creditor reconciliations.
- Prepare GST workings and assist in filing GST returns.
- Deduct and account for TDS and assist in statutory compliance.
- Prepare payment proposals and coordinate vendor payments.
- Maintain fixed asset register and expense schedules.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Reconcile inventory and production-related accounting transactions.
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, stores and production departments.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)
- 2–5 years of accounting experience in Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS and basic income tax provisions.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP software (ERPNext, SAP, Tally, Oracle or similar).
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting.
- Ability to work with large transaction volumes.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to meet deadlines.

- Timely completion of daily accounting entries.
