Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate with practical knowledge of cold storage systems, including refrigeration units, insulation panels, and basic of cold rooms projects. The candidate will assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of cold storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation of cold storage units (panels, PUF insulation, doors, flooring)
- Basic understanding of refrigeration systems (compressor, condenser, evaporator)
- Monitor temperature and system performance
- Support troubleshooting of common issues (gas leakage, cooling failure, electrical faults)
- Coordinate with engineers and vendors during project execution
- Maintain basic records of operations and maintenance
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of cold storage construction and working principles
- Understanding of refrigeration cycle and components
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in installation
- Ability to read basic layout drawings (preferred)
- Willingness to work on-site
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning OR Mechanical
- OR 1–3 years of practical experience in cold storage / HVAC
Salary Range
₹12,000 – ₹25,000 (based on experience)
Bonus (Preferred)
- Experience in fruit/vegetable cold storage (4°C to 15°C range)
- Knowledge of PUF panel installation
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
