Position: Senior IFS Developer – IFS Cloud

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior IFS Developer with strong expertise in IFS Cloud to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade solutions. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance, and upgrade-friendly IFS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1.IFS Cloud Development
Design and develop customizations, extensions, and configurations in IFS Cloud
Build and enhance Lobbies, Projections, Custom Fields, and Workflows
Develop Aurena-based UI customizations
Create and maintain Custom Events and Event Actions
2.Technical Design & Architecture
Translate business requirements into technical design documents
Ensure solutions align with IFS Cloud architecture and best practices
Participate in design discussions and provide technical leadership
3. Integration & Data Handling
Develop integrations using REST APIs / OData
Work with IFS Connect / Middleware tools
Handle data migration and transformation activities
Develop and manage PL/SQL, database objects, and data models
4. Customization & Configuration
Extend standard IFS functionalities without impacting upgradeability
Develop database views, packages, and (if applicable) Custom Logical Units
Manage configurations using Solution Manager / Lifecycle tools
5. Performance & Optimization
Analyze and optimize system performance
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
Ensure code quality and adherence to development standards
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and QA teams
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers
7. Testing & Deployment
Support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT phases
Manage deployments across environments
Ensure proper documentation and version control
Required Skills & Competencies
Core IFS Skills
Strong hands-on experience in IFS Cloud (Aurena)
Experience with Projections, APIs, Custom Fields, Custom Events
Hands-on with Lobbies, KPIs, and Workflows
Understanding of IFS Security Model
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Database
Experience with REST / OData APIs
Basic knowledge of JavaScript (for UI enhancements)
Familiarity with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi – optional)
Development Practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Version control tools (Git)
Code review and best practices adherence
Preferred Experience
Industry exposure: Utilities, Manufacturing, Asset Management
Experience in IFS Applications (Apps 10) to IFS Cloud upgrades
Exposure to large-scale ERP implementations
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
