About Newmi Care
Newmi Care is India's leading payer-provider managed care platform for women's health, combining phygital OPD clinics with an AI-driven clinical intelligence layer (Nivrit AI). We work with insurers, employers, and TPAs to deliver preventive and curative care across puberty, maternity, menopause, and cancer.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own the finance function end-to-end — running day-to-day operations in-house while managing a set of external vendor partners for specialized compliance work. This is a high-ownership role suited to someone who wants to build and run a lean, efficient finance function rather than just execute a checklist.\
What You'll Own (In-House)
- Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable across clinic and B2B/corporate revenue lines
- Vendor and partner contract review (commercial terms, payment clauses, renewal tracking)
- Monthly MIS and financial reporting to leadership
- Cash flow monitoring and working capital management
- Reconciliations (bank, revenue, doctor payouts)
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting cycles
What You'll Oversee (via External Vendors)
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction management in Zoho Books
- Secretarial compliance
- Taxation (direct and indirect, filings and assessments)
- Travel & Expense (T&E) processing
- Outsourced bookkeeping support (where applicable) You will be the internal point of accountability — briefing vendors, reviewing their output, chasing deadlines, and ensuring compliance quality, without doing the filings yourself.
What We're Looking For
- 6–7 years of experience in a finance/accounts role, ideally in a healthcare, clinic chain, or hospital environment; prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (non-negotiable)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, reconciliation workflows)
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Excel Copilot) to speed up reporting, reconciliation, and analysis
- Experience managing external vendors/consultants for compliance functions
- Sharp eye for contracts and commercial terms
- Startup mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, fast pace, and wearing multiple hats
- Bachelor's in Commerce/Finance; MBA or semi-qualified CA/CMA a plus (not mandatory).
