- Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the facility’s electrical infrastructure, including DBs, panels, and internal/external lighting.
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in medical equipment, office appliances, and HVAC systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the Generator (DG Set) and UPS systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Monitor and maintain all electrical components of the STP, including submersible pumps, aerators, blowers, and control panels.
- Ensure the automated sensors (level controllers/float switches) are functioning correctly to prevent overflows or dry runs.
- Conduct regular motor insulation tests (Megger tests) on STP pumps to prevent burnout.
- Coordinate with the plumbing team to ensure mechanical and electrical synchronization of the plant.
- Oversee the electrical operation of waste processing machinery, such as organic waste composters, shredders, or baling machines.
- Ensure all waste segregation areas are properly illuminated and equipped with functional power points for cleaning equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-efficient waste-to-energy initiatives where applicable.
- Maintain accurate logs of electrical consumption, STP run hours, and maintenance checklists.
