We are seeking a proactive HR & statutory compliance liaison to manage our external compliance and administrative tasks. The primary focus of this role is preparing and submitting statutory documentation (such as labour wage sheets). You will also serve as our on-ground representative for dealing with various government departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable with fieldwork, understands basic labour compliance, has good English skills for documentation, and knows how to navigate government offices effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Billing Support: Prepare and submit necessary statutory documents (labour wages, compliance reports, etc.) to clients to facilitate the timely release of billing amounts for work completed.
- Government Liaison: Visit and interact with government departments, including the Labour Office, police stations, and local municipal bodies, for compliance, registrations, and approvals.
- HR Assistance: Maintain internal records related to worker attendance, wage calculations, and general HR administrative tasks.
- Field Operations: Travel locally on a daily basis to physically submit documents, follow up with client accounts departments, and resolve compliance hurdles on the ground.
- Record Keeping: Ensure all official receipts, acknowledgements, and government documents are safely filed and updated in the company system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in statutory compliance, HR administration, or liaison work.
- Compliance Knowledge: Basic understanding of labour laws, wage calculation, and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, minimum wages) is highly preferred.
- Field-Ready: Must be completely comfortable with daily travel and fieldwork.
- Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English for drafting letters and preparing documents (fluency in the local regional language is mandatory for government office interactions).
- Transportation: Must hold a valid two-wheeler driving licence.
- Soft Skills: Confident, street-smart, and capable of effectively communicating with government officials and client billing departments.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
