Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Consulting Executives / Admission Counsellors to join our Admissions & Student Counselling team. This is a work-from-home opportunity ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students make informed educational decisions.
The primary responsibility of this role is to connect with prospective students who have enquired about various UK university courses, understand their educational and career goals, provide accurate course guidance, and support them throughout the admission journey. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, relationship-building, and documentation skills while maintaining a target-oriented approach.
Roles and Responsibilities1. Student Consultation & Course Counselling
- Connect with prospective students through outbound calls based on course enquiries received via websites, advertisements, referrals, and other channels.
- Understand candidates' educational background, interests, and career aspirations to recommend suitable courses.
- Explain course details including curriculum, duration, eligibility, fee structure, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Professionally address candidate queries and objections while providing accurate information.
2. Lead Management & Follow-ups
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to nurture leads and improve enrolment conversions.
- Guide candidates through the admission process until successful enrolment.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets.
3. CRM & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of candidate information, enquiry status, feedback, and follow-up activities in the CRM or tracking system.
- Document every interaction with detailed call outcomes, remarks, and next steps.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on call performance and enrolment progress.
4. Team Coordination & Process Compliance
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of candidate information in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely updates and transparent communication with reporting managers.
Education & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Undergraduates with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in tele-calling, admissions counselling, inside sales, customer support, or BPO will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are an advantage).
- Strong listening, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and CRM or call-tracking tools.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and data entry.
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining quality and professionalism.
- Positive attitude, patience, willingness to learn, and a target-driven mindset.
