About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with over 5+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data models that drive business insights. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SQL, Python, data warehousing concepts, and hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using modern cloud data platforms.
- Implement and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and DBT.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data models.
- Build and maintain high-quality data documentation and ensure adherence to data governance best practices.
- Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing data workflows.
- Contribute to data architecture and modeling discussions to enhance data platform scalability and performance.

Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling principles.
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Data Warehouse) and DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and quality management.
Snowflake Expertise
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Snowflake security, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions on Snowflake.
DBT Expertise
- Proven experience working on DBT (Core / Cloud) in one or more projects.
- Building modular, maintainable, and reusable DBT models and macros.
- Managing DBT projects and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Writing and scheduling DBT tests for data quality assurance.
- Implementing development, staging, and production environments.
- Experience with version control and deployment best practices for DBT projects.
Additional Technical Skills
- Good hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in consulting and client-facing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- AWS Data Engineer or AWS Solution Architect certification is an added advantage.
- Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced are highly preferred.

- Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: Up to ₹1,400,000.00 per year
